Dear Diary,

I could hardly believe it when Mom said I had gotten a letter from THE PRESIDENT!!  I never expected him to write me back, let alone invite me and Tony to come to the Whitehouse to meet him and Mrs. Bush!
Diary, I'm sure President Bush only invited Tony to be nice and, I know I shouldn't be like this... but, it really made me mad that Mom made me take him too.  After all, I was the one that asked Mom to write President Bush the letter about my idea for a tacks credit for getting cats spayed and neutered (which he said he would think about.)
Well, we had a GREAT time and got some super pictures!  Hope you like them.

I was worried the whole time that Tony would do something awful and embarrass me in front of the President, but he only  embarrassed me bad once.  He actually farted right out loud in the oval office.  President Bush just laughed and told Tony he did that too sometimes.  What a guy!

Here we are right after we got there.  President Bush told us a story about the dog he had when he was a little boy.  We told him all about the sport of agility and about Helping Udders.  He said he was proud of us for helping other dogs and that he would like to try agility someday too!

We even got to go for a ride on Marine One!!  I was really excited about that, but felt a little silly when the Marine saluted me.  Tony just lapped it up - he can be such a jerk sometimes!
This is a picture of Tony playing in front of the White House.  The Secret Service guys threw his toy for him while me and President Bush, talked about important stuff Tony's too dumb to understand.  I told the President how much I admired the Military Working Dogs mom has read to me about and whether there was any way to get the Army to draft Tony, but he said "probably not."

Mrs. Bush is a real nice lady.  She told me I could call her Laura when no one was around.  She invited us to spend the weekend with them and we all went to the ranch in Crawford, Texas.  Boy was it hot!

This is my favorite picture from the whole trip!.  It's me and the President and Laura riding around the ranch in the pick-up checking out the horses and cows.

While we were at the ranch, I asked Laura if she thought the President was serious when he said he would like to learn agility and she said "I'm sure he was!"  So I called some of my agility friends in Texas and that's what we did!

Yep, what a guy!  I'll never forget my trip to Washington.
