Jacko's Not
Guilty Verdict Attributed to Petey's Testimony
AP Wichita Wire Service -
Petey Miller,
an entrepreneur and pet rescue advocate, now living in Kansas, was among the
last to testify for the defense in Michael Jackson's molestation trial.
He is also the witness defense attorney credit with Michael Jackson's
acquittal.
Petey, who was close friends with Jackson's chimp, Bubbles, in the mid 90's
testified that he spent a lot of time at Jackson's Neverland Ranch partying
with his primate buddy.
"Sure, we all slept in
the same bed, but nothing ever happened. The cookies and milk were
great too! Michael was a very good host and treated Bubbles very well,
despite his terrible hygiene issues."
One juror
said, "Petey is undoubtedly the cutest and most trustworthy sounding dog
I've ever seen. Who wouldn't believe that sweet face? I just had
to vote in his favor." |
