We bought the Masterpiece bed about three years ago, along with two tops. Our
American Bulldog loves to claw at the top at night, and yet it took three years
for him to finally tear through. We alternate tops, so that probably helped, but
in the past we would have gone through at least six beds in that time. And the
core of the bed is still perfect, doesn't smell, and looks like it will last
forever. Needless to say, we're extremely impressed with the design, materials

We've used these beds for three years now and they are just as nice now as
the day I bought them. The only part of the bed that gets "doggy" is
attached with Velcro and pulls right off to be popped in the washer and even
bleached. The rest can be wiped with a wet rag, or even hosed off if
something "really bad" happens in the crate. After 3 years, the foam
hasn't "mushed down" at all.

from the inside out . . . 3 barriers against odors, and accidents.
A. The high-density foam evenly distributes the weight of the dog for
maximum support & comfort. Minimizes calloused elbows & broken coat: eases
joint stress in geriatric dogs.
B. The foam liner is the first protective barrier
against the foam's absorption of hair, oil, urine and dirt.
C. The outer nylon shell is made of 1000 denier nylon and laminated with
vinyl. It's rugged, durable, and water repellent. Wipes clean
with a wet cloth, and is easy to remove if necessary for washing.
D. Removable plush pile fleece blanket is attached to the nylon shell with
military spec Velcro. The blanket is warm in winter, cool in summer. Easy to remove for
repeated washing, and bleaching. Dries quickly and looks great.
